Singer-songwriter Gabrielle Robinson, aka MXE, hails from the UK. For her new song, Fantasy, produced by JunaSwon, she brings a few highly engaging R&B ingredients together. The catchiness of the sound will you people listening. There’s so much emotion in the lyrics when the vocals bring them to life with such strength. MXE’s rich tone has a noticeable effect, really propelling the production forward.
Asked about the new tune, MXE said: ”Fantasy was written from an imaginative point of view. I have never been cheated on or betrayed to such an extent, but the beat in this song made my heart feel heavy like I had endured a lot of pain. I immediately imagined how I would have reacted if someone had betrayed my trust but were unaware of my knowledge of their actions and so I went with that narrative. I also thought to ask others who had experienced this situation how they felt and used it as inspiration when writing and recording the song.”
