Amy Ellen is part of the emerging Irish scene. Indie-folk artists such as Laura Marling and Fleetwood Mac inspire her sound. Her music has been played on stations like Radio Nova, Dublin City FM, and SW London’s Riverside Radio.
Only You Will Know, the lead single off Amy’s debut EP, is sure to take you on a journey. Stunning arrangements encircle the narrative. Amy’s singing takes listeners through section to section effortlessly. When listening, time disappears. Only You Will Know is a musical masterpiece that will keep everyone spellbound for a whole six minutes.
Only You Will Know reflects the sound of Amy’s previous singles. “It was so exciting to see the parts come together’’ says she, “the instrumentation became the driving force and we naturally wanted to keep the vibe of the song going. That explains the length of the track!”
The EP has one common theme: no one knows how it feels to be you, so that just felt right to me. Amy is very focused on making sure the lyrics aren’t only insightful, but also appealing.
