Singer-songwriter clide has dropped a new single, titled kitchen floor. Its melodies and beats will instantly catch your ear, beckoning you to listen further. As the production moves, strong vocals float above it, searching for new horizons. I really like the chorus, which has tons of texture to it.
kitchen floor is inspired by a drunken fight. “Spilled a bottle of feelings” refers to saying things you didn’t mean, or even revealing hard truths to others, and being left with an unrepairable mess in the end. It’s a song about the feeling of going too far and not being able to get back.
