Brooklyn-based artist Tetza releases her new single, alter ego. I was reminded of Ariana Grande while listening to the song. However, the rising star also uses her own tricks to keep the sound in check. Playful violins are an unusual addition, for example.
The lyrics feelsatirical and self-reflective – ironically blaming one’s alter ego for missteps in relationships. We love the cheeky attitude here, and Tetza paints some classic scenarios.
