soft siren is an emerging dream pop band formed in Los Angeles, California by Sidewalks and Skeletons and CASHFORGOLD. They freshly released Like You Found God. Here, they question whether the desire for fame has value and speculate on the idea that once you enter that world, you can feel trapped like a prisoner. The recurring messages revolve around finding meaning and fulfillment in a fleeting and brief world through God and the divine.
Taking cues from indie pop and shoegaze luminaries like Lana Del Rey and Cocteau Twins, this track envelops you in a whirlwind of mesmerizing instrumentation. Raw, emotive vocals, punctuated by a hypnotic hook, eloquently ride atop rich, psychedelic guitar melodies, culminating in a groovy guitar solo that brings the scene to fruition.
