British band Venice Heath release their new single, Why Always On My Mind. Over a poppy melody carried by organic instrumentation, the lead singer sings about the longing that stems from losing ties with someone who used to be such a big part of your life. He finds himself wishing the other person was still by their side so they could share life’s ups and downs together.
Even after going separate ways, memories remain. In meaningful lyrics, the song gives voice to the universal sentiment of cherishing a past relationship that fell short of its promise.
