Canadian singer/songwriter Avery Raquel released her sophomore album in 2022, which included the bop Take It From Me. This song has great guitar tones and a beat that slowly pulls you closer to the soundscape. The vocals are soulful and continually surprise with their angelic tones.
Throughout Take It From Me, there’s an internal conflict between the desire to maintain control and the temptation to let love in. Raquel acknowledges the charm and appeal of the other person’s words but remains unsure about taking the leap into something deeper.
