NIIVA was born in Bulgaria and raised in England, but now resides in Canada as a pop artist. She recently dropped her new funky single, Pillow Hopping. Its lyrics depict how it feels to meet someone and have a special ‘vibe’ with them. They really bring out your wild side. Although you know the thrill won’t last, you live in the moment and surrender to the excitement.
Pillow Hopping features a groovy bassline laid over a melodic backdrop. The vocals sound sassy, and they pulsate beautifully due to the way they’re mixed. The chorus alternates between soft and gritty, which works well.
