Montreal-based duo Hansom Li is composed of Camille and Alexy Guère. Bringing folk, R&B, funk, and indie pop together without any effort, they forge an unmistakably individual style.
Posé closes out their debut album, Sip. The song talks about the effects of human actions on the planet and the widening social chasm. Although the themes are relatively heavy, the lyrics are very hopeful.
Every section has a different beat per minute. As it goes on, the tempo just keeps picking up speed. But then, out of nowhere, it finds this chill groove right in the middle of all that chaos. Pretty brilliant, right?
