The song talks about trying to find some peace and solid ground when everything and everyone around you seems uncontrollable. Neomi was going through such a thing when she wrote this song, She was just done guessing what people were thinking or saying, especially when it came to one person. They kept making excuses, pushing her away, and she wasn’t able to bounce back properly.
