This time, though, the duo opts for a grittier sound, akin to Qveen Herby’s. Throughout, rich textures cut through the mix and wrap you up in an atmosphere of haunting elegance.
The lyrics are straightforward, making no concessions as they tackle the subject. Natalie Cleveland, the lead singer, delivers them in her signature style, which makes them even more impactful.
