Chappell Roan is making this summer extra special with her new single, The Subway‘, an ode to lost love. She sings about being on the train and noticing a girl with green hair and a beauty mark. As they grow closer, they begin dating. But unlike most fairy tales, this one ends in heartbreak, leaving Roan crushed.
The music video for The Subway was filmed in New York. It shows Roan searching for the girl, hoping this time will be different.
