With Where Else, Grandbrothers present the third single from their upcoming album Elsewhere (out September 26, 2025 via andothers), and it’s already shaping up to be a cornerstone of their live sets.
The track features a four-to-the-floor rhythm, layered synth textures, and intricate piano motifs, marrying the duo’s signature sensitivity with fresh energy drawn straight from the dancefloor. More than any other piece on the record, Where Else was born from the stage, charting the duo’s journey from intimate seated shows to the heightened intensity of standing crowds.
“This one really came out of our live shows,” says Erol Sarp. “Over time, the vibe shifted – we moved from seated venues into standing crowds, and that brought a different kind of intensity. Where Else was our response to that shift.”
