We all have experienced periods in our lives when we left a place, grew, returned with fresh perspective and existential questions, and then moved on. Tim Atlas sings about this in Couple Up.
I love the production on the song. It’s genre-blending, multi-hyphenated, and pulls off the rare trick of sounding melancholic while staying something lighthearted. The vocals sound wonderful, having a good deal of character.
