That’s the energy of I Wanna Call You, Piper Leone’s bittersweet new country single, and it’s an irresistible one. Produced by Jim Scott, whose resume runs through Tom Petty, Lucinda Williams and Johnny Cash, the track has a feel that you can’t put your finger on.
The video follows a lonesome late-night drive that leads to a neon honky-tonk, a handsome cowboy, a little two-stepping, etc. Visually, it looks phenomenal.
