Fleur Bleu·e’s new single Surrender meditates on the need to relinquish a primal desire for love in order to eventually experience it fully. The lyrics are so powerful, I believe.
The production manages to wrap the underlying complexity in something genuinely beautiful. With heavenly harmonies and sparkling new-wave guitars, it impresses.
The self-directed music video places Delphine Lucy Lam (lead singer) and her double in a suburban nowhere, wandering between multiple voices, caught between versions of herself she may or may not find common ground.
