GEMMA’s debut single Color Again talks about finding your way back to life after depression. Using painting as a metaphor, the song traces the healing process with patience and honesty. It shows how something beautiful doesn’t appear all at once; it begins as a rough, uncertain sketch full of mistakes.
I love the production here, which is pretty pop-ish. Particularly impressive are the textures during the chorus. The vocals sound majestic, and they have a lot of emotion in them.
