In GIRLS <3, singer-songwriter Giorgia-May talks about the daily reality of existing as a woman in a world that still hasn’t figured out how to treat her right. In under two minutes, equal pay, harassment, judgment, and the constant struggle for self-acceptance are addressed.
I like the production here, which has strong guitar work and a smooth underlying beat. The vocals sound extraordinary, showcasing much soulfulness.
