RAYVEN’s new single Martyr traces the process of self-erasure that comes from loving someone so completely that you forget to leave anything for yourself. The lyrics are rich in realness, which is what gives them such power.
I’m impressed by the production here. While the verses sound delicate, the chorus blazes with theatrical energy. The dynamic changes are absolutely phenomenal. Also a big shout-out to RAYVEN’s wonderful singing.
