Monkeys with Internet’s new single WHEREHOUSE explores the restlessness and disorientation of being lost in your twenties, never quite settling, never quite arriving, always somewhere between where you used to be and where you think you should be. Inspired by moving seven times in two years, the song builds a “warehouse of houses” as a metaphor for that endless search for somewhere to belong.
I love the song’s sound, which is driven by an indie pop production that feels propulsive and alive from the first moment. The vocals sound grandiose, picking up pace quickly.
WHEREHOUSE arrives with real confidence and real momentum. Check it out below!
