Indie folk artist Nancy Dunkle releases her new single, Climb the Stairs. It talks about the restless, swaying ache of wanting something to mean more than it does in the moment, and only realizing what it meant when you’re already walking away.
The production sounds amazing. Pedal steel, 80s-inspired synths and heavy guitars sitting together in a way that feels nostalgic and alive at the same time. The vocals sound convincing all the way through.
