Rising singer-songwriter Marie Fjeldsted wrote Fear Is the Fire about the age of fear, where quick reactions override reflection and even the smallest spark becomes a wildfire before anyone has stopped to think. It’s sharp and observational without being preachy.
I love the production here, which sounds dreamy, but fully confident enough to keep you engaged. Fjeldsted’s distinctive voice sitting at the center of it all. She really sings each note to perfection.
