20-year-old Austrian singer-songwriter Fanny Tautscher aka fanschko isn’t what you would call a “born musician”. In fact, it wasn’t until the pandemic hit, that she grabbed a guitar and decided to teach herself how to write her own songs.
Recently, she released Die in Piece. It talks about the aftermath of a toxic relationship where pain persists after the other person has left. Small details like cleaning a room after a breakup quickly spiral into something heavier, revealing emotional wounds that have never really healed.
I love the production here. Atmospheric electronics, tempered beats, and haunting vocals contribute to a feeling of emotional isolation. You’ll be blown away.
