KIMIKO, the musical project of actress and singer Kimiko Glenn, continues her transition into pop with Just Like That. It talks about the absurdity of becoming completely consumed by someone who is giving you very little in return. KIMIKO expresses her lines with playful self-awareness, fully acknowledging the ridiculousness of the situation while still getting caught up in it.
The song’s production rocks, featuring quite gritty guitar melodies and an underlying rhythm infused with movement. The vocals sound wonderful, emphasizing clarity above all else.
