Mega Fäuna are an all-female five-piece with a mission to make the best music possible. lifelike, from their debut album softmore, takes inspiration from The Picture of Dorian Gray and revolves around figuring out how to live a life you feel is real, not just pretty. This is something that surely occupies many of you. Hopefully, after listening to lifelike, you’ll find more answers than questions.
The arrangement here may have a dreamy feel, but it knows how to create momentum well, especially during the chorus, where the drums and guitars form a shield together. The layered harmonies are beautiful and add even more warmth to the overall sound.
