Lefuturewave is a music blog based in the Netherlands. We feature emerging as well as established artists.
We’ve featured CHARLOT and philine here quite often before, but now they have released a single together, which is nothing but good news. I think The End of The Beginning sounds really beautiful. It features creative piano melodies and a cool ethereal beat. Surrounding that are some catchy indie pop textures. The vocals simply work throughout.
The End of the Beginning consists of relatable lyrics. They linger on the familiar tendency to fall in love with what’s next, only to watch the shine slowly wear off: from a new favorite track played into exhaustion or a romance that keeps returning in a different form.
