Toronto indie duo YSSY (say “yessy”) makes vivid, synthy alt-pop. Their new single, Fake It Til I Make It, has the attitude of a true anthem and feels brilliant. From beautiful chord structures to a catchy sing-along hook, you’ll be completely immersed.
Inspired by the days of cryptic MSN Messenger statuses, Fake It Til I Make It captures the bittersweet feeling of saying everything without ever saying it directly. Instead of using nostalgia as a gimmick, the song employs it to extend its emotional core.
YSSY always manages to exceed expectations. Fake It Till I Make It delivers on all fronts. Start listening below!
