Luna Shadows writes and produces out of her bedroom in Los Angeles, shaping songs under the shade of the palms. gutspill shows her lighter side. She describes the song as a celebration of finally letting your emotions out instead of trying to push them down, even when admitting them feels terrifying.
gutspill sounds brilliant. It brings crunchy Midwest emo-inspired guitars into Shadows’ dreamy electronic sound, with layered vocals providing plenty of texture. You’ll enjoy everything you hear.
The accompanying video rocks, with Chris Freeman on guitar and a full band-style setup that nods to early-2000s pop-punk visuals. Shadows directed, produced, designed, and edited the video herself.
