E.M. Kane feels a lot, which she conveys through her music. She recently released her new single, One Night In Dalston. It looks at homesickness, feeling misunderstood, and the realisation that sometimes you miss home more than you ever expected. Having spent ten years in London before returning to Glasgow, Kane knows that feeling all too well.
One Night In Dalston has some cool instrumental work. I especially appreciate the guitar’s rawness throughout. The vocals complement it beautifully, knowing when to boost and when to keep a subtle presence.
