Toronto-based multidisciplinary artist Teagan Johnston shares Big Time, the title track from her sophomore album of the same name. It reflects on her decade-long quest for success and questions what it really means to “hit the big time.” Her ideas about success are closely connected to her understanding of home, making the song part of a much bigger reflection on what she actually wants from life.
I really like the sound of Big Time. The production feels rich, blending folk and rock influences into something that has plenty of character. Teagan’s vocals are a real highlight too, sounding so sincere. You’ll admire them.
Teagan simply knows how to deliver legendary music. Big Time impresses all the way through. Check it out below!
