Hailed as the “Queen of R&B” in her Hungarian hometown, BABÉ SILA is a rising artist splitting her time between London and NYC. Her new song, i would i would i would, explores what happens when giving yourself completely to someone begins to mean losing parts of yourself along the way. As beautiful and intimate as surrendering to someone you love can be, Sila also exposes the sadness underneath, especially the expectation that women bend, accommodate, and reshape themselves around the man they love.
i would i would i would has a rich arrangement involving bass from Tamás Heilig, piano from Damján Ocsovay, and violin from Frances Whitehead. SILA’s vocals are excellent throughout, and even more importantly, convincing.
i would i would i would deserves a spot on your playlist. Check it out below!
