Tara Flanagan is an up and coming Singer-Songwriter of Irish/Filipino descent hailing from the South Coast in Poole, Dorset now living in the heart of London.
She recently released her new single Emotions. It’s a sad, emotional, heartfelt mellow pop song with singer-songwriter influences.
The song sounds so good. I like the piano melodies. Besides, the vocals are stellar. Furthermore, I’m also a fan of the uplifting elements and amazing harmonies.
Lyrically, Tara delivers. She honestly expresses the battles we go through to try and control our feelings over someone.
Speaking about the track, the artist says: ”I wrote Emotions about feeling overly sensitive to my own emotions. The song is about thinking you have finally moved on – making new experiences and happy memories then out of the blue you hear from someone you least expect. It just takes one small thing to trigger memories and all kinds of emotions flood in, whether you like it or not.”
Tara’s music connects with people. Her art is meaningful.
The song deserves to be heard. It’s a masterpiece.
Emotions had it’s debut radio play on Laura Whitmore’s BBC Radio 5 Live show and the track was also BBC Introducing Solent’s track of the week. Tara also performed at their yearly networking event BBC Introducing Live at Tobacco Dock in London.
