Aidan Belo is the artist behind His His, a Toronto-based project. After relocating to his family’s hobby farm outside of the city, Belo created this project in an attempt to evoke something rural and honest.
Home, Home carries a peaceful aura. There’s a strong emphasis on guitar here, with additional backing on occasion. Stunning vocals help to tell the story so effectively.
In describing the track, His His says: ”This song was inspired by leaving Toronto and returning home to the farm that I was raised on. Life moves a little slower over here in contrast to the hustle and bustle of the city. I spend my days taking care of our sheep and cows, and working in the garden. While my stay here is only temporary until the pandemic resolves, it’s been a nice change of pace for which this song is centred upon.”
