Singer-songwriter Helena May releases her new single, Still Here. It’s about embracing life with all its ups and downs, finding meaning along the way, and persisting with hope and courage. Lines such as, “We’re finding joy in all the madness”, hint that happiness can be found even in less-than-ideal circumstances.
With soul-infused flavours, this production unfolds strongly. I love the vocals, because they add layers of identity to everything. The chorus embellishes the song with a melodic boost.
May doesn’t leave you in any doubt as to what she’s capable of doing creatively. Still Here proves she won’t go. The bigger stages are already calling her name.
