Holly Havens is a fascinating singer-songwriter based in Bristol, UK. She freshly released her new single, Fickle Heart. It was written out of sadness and frustration. The lyrics are about not understanding how someone can love you deeply and then move on alone as if you were never there. This isn’t fun, of course.
Fickle Heart has traditional instrumentation, but that doesn’t make it any less good. I love the guitars and how they cling to the tension the vocals bring. During the chorus everything comes together.
