Sophie van Hasselt is a Dutch indie pop singer/songwriter. She releases her debut album Care, are you Free?, including the focus track 1440 minutes. It talks about living intentionally and making the most of every minute you have. When you realize how precious time is, you’ll have a greater appreciation for being here on earth. Aside from this, Sophie advises us not to be too hard on ourselves, since we’re only human.
1440 minutes has an acoustic guitar arrangement. While it’s not very dynamic, it serves its purpose. The vocals are pristine, meaning they’re free from distortion or muddiness, which is a plus in my book.
