Emerging artist EMME shares her new single, Are You Winning now?. It has wonderful guitar melodies that bridge the gap between singer-songwriter and pop music. The vocals are powerful tonally, providing an extra emphasis to the lyrics.
EMME wrote this song after an emotional breakup with her best friend last year. In their final conversation, her friend claimed that everything EMME had done for her never compared to what she had done for EMME. But in trying to prove she was the one giving more in the friendship, she ultimately lost EMME entirely.
