soft siren is an emerging band formed in Los Angeles, California by Sidewalks and Skeletons, CASHFORGOLD, and Michael Coe (Count The Clock). They release their new single, California Heatwave. It has driving electronic guitars set against hazy, ethereal vocals and dreamy harmonies. Things sound quite psychedelic because of this.
California Heatwave talks about being lost in thought while chasing freedom and escape, with California as a symbol of both the dream and the uncertainty along the way. The lyrics are absolutely thoughtful.
