Singer-songwriter Hardly releases her new single, Code. It features impressive guitar playing that balances on the edge of indie rock and alt pop. The vocals are beautifully layered together and express themselves in unexpected but cool ways.
The song explores the tension between wanting connection and doubting your worth. “‘Breaking the code’ became my way of describing those old beliefs and defenses starting to fall apart when faced with something real,” Hardly says.
I have to say that Hardly certainly convinces me here. She’s someone with a vision and a mind for invention. And on top of that, her writing is simply brilliant. Check out Code below!
