Yiigaa (performance name of Yiga Gao Lou) is a genre-blending singer-songwriter and multi-interdisciplinary artist. Her new single, TOURGUIDE, sounds next level. I’m most fond of the soulful electronic textures, as they develop brilliantly along the way. The Afro-inspired rhythms are cool too.
TOURGUIDE talks about watching somewhere you love change right before your eyes and sitting with the pain and nostalgia that comes with that. Lyrically, things are compelling.
