Indie-pop artist kat cordova shares Fall on My Sword, her fifth single on streaming platforms and her most poignant release yet. Created with co-producer and friend Charlie Hickey, the song explores the confusion of staying with someone you already know isn’t right for you.
I really dig the production here, especially the way the track builds into the first pre-chorus and chorus around 0:30–1:13. There’s a natural flow in this part, and it’s rewarding to hear how the different elements come together.
