Rising singer-songwriter and producer Emme recently released don’t usually go out, the first single from her upcoming sophomore album. The song is about someone who somehow gets you to say yes to plans you would normally turn down. Suddenly, staying home doesn’t sound nearly as appealing anymore, and you find yourself wanting to spend more time with this person.
don’t usually go out brings together warm guitars, bright synths, and catchy production to establish a dreamy and upbeat pop sound. Emma’s layered vocals are epic, especially during the chorus.
don’t usually go out feels like the perfect soundtrack for a spontaneous night out. Check it out below!
