British singer-songwriter Ella Mey Parker recently released her new single Your Girl. Its lyrics follow her struggling to move on after discovering her ex is with another woman, even though she knows he lied, cheated, and repeatedly hurt her. She keeps asking herself why she still wants to be the one he loves, which makes the song feel especially personal.
Your Girl has a piano-driven arrangement that might not be super cinematic, but still wows. Parker’s vocals ooze emotion and are beautifully accentuated. You’ll be impressed by them.
