Passionate about the power of music and social impact Piera Van de Wiel singer and song writer has performed and sung the United Nations Headquarters on International Women’s Day. Her new single Come Back Home was written for the Abaco Relief after Hurricane Dorian.
The track sounds amazing. Piera’s vocals are so powerful. Besides, the unique melodic construction is unique. Furthermore, I am also a big fan of the dynamic chorus!
On the single, Piera says: ”I wrote this relief song after Hurricane Dorian devastated the Bahamian Abaco Islands. I had grown up there since I was 7 months old. My close friends and family had to fight for their lives with 185mph winds, floods and tornados. They have been left with nothing. I wanted to help, so I wrote this piece of music and included members that were affected by the hurricane in my ending chorus. This song is to empower and give hope back to the community.”
Come Back Home is a track that needs a lot of attention. Be sure to stream it as soon as possible!
