Alexa Louise is an Indie-Rock artist based in Los Angeles, CA. She releases her new single, Silverlake. It has peaceful guitar lines building the way forward. There are also cool rhythmic motifs, tackling a bit of impulse. We fancy the chorus, not only because it’s attention-getting, but also because it’s logically structured.
The song pictures a girl who envies and tries to emulate the much cooler girl from Silverlake — Los Angeles’s hipster, eastside neighborhood. The plot entertains and is identifiable at times. We’d all like to be that ‘somebody’, don’t we?
