Roses are red, relationships can be rotten, and Richmond all-girl punk-poppers Deathcat have something to say about it. On Bloody Nose, they reimagine a love tragedy into a sharp-tongued riot grrrl anthem.
The song sounds amazing. It brings to mind early Waxahatchee, with the fierce guitar distortion of Bikini Kill adding a rougher edge. The vocals cut through the distortion with just the right amount of strenght and attitude, making the whole thing click.
Deathcat show once again why they’re one of the best with Bloody Nose. Check it out below!
